Admin/Front Desk

About the role:

We are looking for an outgoing, confident and warm individual to cultivate relationships with clients, create a welcoming energy in the studio and grow our memberships. This person will know the ins and outs of our class offerings, rates and policies and enjoy educating our clients. They will ensure the studio is clean, organized and well maintained.

Hours:

20-28 hours/week (Part-Time)

Responsibilities:

  • To help manage the financial administration of the business (including bookkeeping)

  • Providing customer service by answering phones, greeting visitors, scheduling classes & appointments, and processing payments

  • Convert new clients into members through purchase of packages or memberships

  • Reach out to lapsed clients to encourage them back to the studio

  • Have an outstanding organisational ability to keep the studio running smoothly

  • To be proactive in filming short videos or taking photos of classes and post on the business social media account

  • Ensuring company is represented competently and professionally

  • To maintain cleanliness of the studio at all times, this includes but not limited to sanitising & cleaning the studio before/after classes

Compensation:

RM 10 - 15/ hour (depending on experience)

Commissions for sales target achieved

Studio Manager + Marketing

About the role:

This is a multi-faceted role, most suited to a highly motivated individual with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team with skills across 3 key areas of administration, sales and marketing. 

Applications are open for an exceptional individual to join our close-knit studio management team in the role of admin & marketing manager.

Hours:

35 - 40 hours/week (semi-flexible/negotiable)

Responsibilities:

MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS

Key responsibilities include:

  • Curate & manage social media content across multiple platforms

  • Use principles of marketing across written & digital formats

  • Create & send digital newsletters

  • Update website using Squarespace

  • Create communications that are 'on-brand'

  • Plan & market classes, events, workshops & trainings

  • Communicate with staff on scheduling issues

  • Liaise with teachers and staff for workshops

ADMINISTRATION

Key responsibilities include:

  • Answering inquiries & managing email

  • Processing enrolments

  • Creating documents & spreadsheets

  • Manage + track attendance & memberships

  • Manage + track sales using our booking software (Acuity Scheduling)

  • Basic invoicing, banking, payroll

  • Client management (memberships, passes, data entry)

  • Studio open & close set up

  • Management of CRM mailing lists

  • Daily site audit - cleanliness and safety

  • Help maintain studio appearance

  • Communicate with new & existing clients via phone & email 

  • Manage course, program & events

  • Communicate with staff on scheduling issues

  • Liaise with teachers and staff for workshops

Who we are looking for?

  • creative, organised, data and goal oriented, and have an overall positive attitude

  • An education in Marketing, Advertising, Media Studies or related fields OR minimum 2 years digital experience with a portfolio of SM activities, influence and achievements

  •  Experience in Business development or marketing is preferred

  • Excellent copywriting, design, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills in English for online audiences 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Uses initiative to solve administration problems & learn new processes & procedures

  • High level of attention to detail

  • Communicate confidently under a range of circumstances

  • Demonstrated commitment to health & wellbeing in a yoga or fitness context
